LoggerMatic Terms of Service
Last updated: February 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LoggerMatic fitness tracking application for iOS and watchOS ("the App"), developed by Doette Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using LoggerMatic, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
LoggerMatic is a native fitness tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch that records workouts from Bluetooth FTMS (Fitness Machine Service) devices, GPS-based outdoor activities, and stationary exercises. The App can upload workout data to Strava in standard FIT file format and generates shareable workout badges.
3. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
- LoggerMatic is not a medical device. The App is intended for recreational fitness tracking only.
- Workout metrics (heart rate, power, calories, distance, pace) are estimates and may not be accurate. Do not rely on these metrics for medical decisions.
- Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.
- You exercise at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome resulting from workouts tracked with the App.
- Heart rate readings from Bluetooth machines or Apple Watch may be inaccurate. Do not use them to monitor medical conditions.
- Calorie and metabolic power estimates are approximations based on available sensor data and may not reflect actual energy expenditure.
4. Bluetooth and Device Connectivity
- LoggerMatic connects to fitness machines via Bluetooth FTMS protocol. Compatibility depends on the machine's FTMS implementation.
- We do not guarantee compatibility with all Bluetooth fitness machines.
- Bluetooth connections may be intermittent or interrupted. The App is not responsible for data loss due to connection failures.
- GPS accuracy depends on device hardware, satellite availability, and environmental conditions. Route and distance data may be imprecise.
5. Strava Integration
- LoggerMatic can upload workout data to Strava using Strava's OAuth API. This feature is opt-in and requires you to connect your Strava account.
- The App requests only the
activity:write scope (permission to upload activities). No personal Strava profile data is accessed.
- You are responsible for complying with Strava's terms of service.
- Once uploaded to Strava, your workout data is governed by Strava's own privacy policy and terms.
- You can disconnect your Strava account from within the App at any time.
6. Apple HealthKit
- The App can read heart rate and active energy data from Apple HealthKit and write workout sessions to Apple Health.
- HealthKit data is never sent to external servers or third parties.
- HealthKit permissions can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Data Storage
- All workout data is stored locally on your device.
- On Apple Watch, workout data is stored independently on the watch and synced to your iPhone via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.
- No user data is transmitted to or stored on Doette Inc. servers.
- You are responsible for backing up your device. Loss of your device may result in loss of workout data.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App to upload fabricated or manipulated workout data to Strava or other services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
The LoggerMatic name, logo, and app design are the property of Doette Inc. You may not use our trademarks without written permission. The LoggerMatic software is proprietary.
10. Disclaimers
- LoggerMatic is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all Bluetooth fitness machines.
- We are not responsible for inaccurate workout data, whether from Bluetooth machine sensors, GPS, Apple Watch, or the App's own calculations.
- We are not responsible for failed Strava uploads or data discrepancies between the App and Strava.
- Workout badge images are generated for personal sharing and may not accurately represent all workout details.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doette Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, inaccurate fitness metrics, or failed workout uploads.
12. Termination
- You may stop using LoggerMatic at any time by uninstalling the App.
- Uninstalling removes all locally stored workout data.
- You can revoke the App's Strava access via Strava settings.
- We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of LoggerMatic after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
